Our First Gingerbread House!

This was our first time making a gingerbread house! Russell was so perfect at each line of icing and each placing of the candy! Thanks Melissa for the fun idea!!

Our New Addition

This is Kobe Tonks. He is our newest addition to the family! he is a Chinese Crested Powder puff we got him about 2 months ago! he his the sweetest cuddler and and loves to give kisses!!!

Its been awhile since ive blogged but here is an update! russells family has moved to Utah, they live in Herriman and have bought a beautifull home! We have moved into my Chinese grandmas home temporarily until we move into our own home. Russell has also decided to start realestate school and he will be there for two weeks and hopefully pass the test and start working after thanksgiving!!! Good Luck Babe!!

HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

One year exact From Sunday August 16, 2009 we got married in the Las Vegas temple! We kept the top of our cake and froze it! Because we were so gentle on our wedding day this is what happened yesterday! I love you so much babe! One down and an eternity to go!!!

Lucy May Bergquist

Lucy May arrived on Tuesday August 11 6:34pm she weighs 6lbs and 9oz 18in long. she is so precious and small. Lucy has a little curl to her hair, it is light brown with frosted blonde tips I'm so thankful everything went well this pregnancy. My sister is recovering well and should be home from the hospital Friday morning. More pictures to come!

My neighbor Joyce gave me a wonderful belated birthday present and took me to KEITH URBAN!!!!!!!!!! He was so amazing this was one of the best concerts I've been to. He sings so natural and just makes you heart melt with his accent and country charm!!! Thanks Joyce for a wonderful night!!!!

Two weekends ago Russell and were able to head down to California to see Russells favorite baseball team the New York Yankees. Even though they lost all three games it was awesome to actually see them in person.

Lake Trip/ Camping Disaster!

I don't know where to start with this trip but here it goes... we rented a boat with my sister in law Jessica and her husband David and our neighbors Nate and Joyce. Russell Nate and Joyce left and picked up the boat around five. Jessica David and I stayed behind and prepared tinfoil dinners and we were going to just meet them at the lake before it got dark. At the time we were waiting for my mother in law to get home so we could drop off Cadyn my cute nephew off at her house to spend the night. As time past it got darker and darker it wasn't till about 8:30pm till we were able to head towards lake mead. We get there about 9:30pm and there are cops everywhere checking everyones boat and my lovely husband is talking with the cops about our unequipped boat that we rented. So after unpacking all of our gear and realizing one of us had to drive back into town and go to walmart for a light that shine 360 degrees all the way around so people can see you on the lake. Our wonderful brother in law David volunteers. So were waiting for about two hours until he finally gets back in between that two hours of boredum on the dock my husband decides to pee off of the side of the dock and in the darkness a cop wearing all black yells and says "you in the shorts meet me at the end of the dock NOW!!!" so Russell head down and is talking with one cop while the one who catches him comes over to see if we have any alcohol in our coolers and i said no sir we don't drink, but he is my husband and the cops says "well i can arrest your husband and take him to jail and register him as a sex offender from exposing his private parts in public!!!!" i said oh my goodness ok and the officer says ill be back. goes over to finish the conversation with Russell but thank fully because there were no kids around they didn't arrest him! SCARE #1 David finally arrives back from walmart getting the light that we needed and were off to find a camping spot! after 10 min we find 3 random people walking along sandy beach a little tipsy but kind enough to help us ashore. We all unpack our sleeping gear get out our chairs and start a fire to cook our wonderful tinfoil dinners. While waiting for our dinner its about 1am and we are all starving checking the food once not cooked wanting to check it twice BURNT TO CRISPY TINFOIL!!! UPSET #2 So we had no dinner but yummy smores! We all get ready for bed and me and Russell sleep at the front of the boat Jessica and David are sleeping in the back of the boat on the floor and Nate and Joyce slept on the sand! We head out first thing that morning and realize we have no flag to hold once someone is down so we had a part of a towel that was orange to hold up. No one new how to drive the boat except Russell so when Russell went it was the scariest thing for me. we head back to camp to eat breakfast. David wanted to do scones so he brought his dutch oven and some oil and started heating that. While we were making scone the fire got so hot the it caught on fire and started producing big Black smoke and everyone got only two lil scones each. we had to sand out the fire so much it ruined the only pan we had for our eggs and bacon! so we had a small breakfast! UPSET #3 positively thinking we just headed out and had fun on the water! Last but not least we pack everything up about to load the boat and the wire snaps the one that holds the boat onto the trailer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my smart husband thankfully had a ratchet strap to hold it tight enough to safely drive back to the renters!!!!!! UPSET #4 One i will never go camping at the lake again! Two we just need to buy our own boat and Three this is a trip that i will never forget!!!!!
