Our First Hospital Visit

Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday my husband goes to ward basketball. Last night or Tuesday night he went to our ward game. He was Defending this 7ft 230lb guy. While Russell went up to block him the other guy landed on Russell and his ankle!!! As a tough guy that my husband is he played the rest of the night acting like nothing was wrong. So we get home and he takes of his socks and here are the results a bruised puffy ankle!!! We call his wonderful mom at 11:30 at night , who is a nurse, for some advice. She guides me through some wonderful techniques like feeling for a pulse or checking how far he can move it around and even if his toes were still pink! After 15 min of me being a nurse he decides just to go to sleep and it will be fine. This morning we wake up to an even more swollen ankle! mind you its elevated and iced all night! so about 10 this morning Cheri came over to check it her self. She told us she thinks it broken but doesn't know for sure and that we need to get it X-RAY ED. My genius husband thinks he is fine and decides he has to go to work instead! so he goes to work for about an hour and half and calls me to tell me i need to meet him at the quick care. I arrive at the quickcare at 1:30pm and we end up with a very very very bad ankle sprain just a little more weight and it would have snapped!! so we left with a bandage and a brace and some krutches! at about 4:30pm we were outta there and the first thing my husband did was throw his krutches in the back of his truck and says he going to play softball tomorrow!!!!!!!!! Do i have a crazy husband or what!!!
